One Website or 100 Websites?

One Website or 100 Websites?

“Build 1000 websites earning $1 per day and earn $1k per day”, I’ve thought this way as well, but not because of the Gurus, but because it theoretically makes sense. In reality? Read on…

Even from the beginning I was wondering if it was good to have one great and big website or hundreds of mini-sites, so I came to realize that there is nothing wrong on having a lot of websites, but, don’t start them all at once. What I have done is, I took advantage of my success to build around 20 website on the same niche but in different ‘sections’, 3 of them are succeeding, 17 are dying. First, I do all the work myself, I build backlinks, write content, update pages, answer messages, get traffic from media bookmarks, and the list goes on.

So what happened? Well, I haven’t done a thing since the beginning of this year. Why? I’m freaking overwhelmed by so much thing I have to do. So don’t be stupid like me and begin to give birth to websites you can’t manage, focus. Now I’m stuck with all these websites and I have no idea what to do next. I have begun to build backlinks to one but it dropped 2 positions and is not hanging on 10th result, the other one is still hanging on #1 but is bringing me, wait for it, $3 bucks per day.

I’ve thought of selling them all and start PPC, PPV or Media Buying, but I won’t do that because I have no idea how to do PPV and Media Buying and Google made me a favor to ban my account because I was too dumb to create new accounts and use vouchers and never carry on, so they probably thought I wasn’t serious and banned my accounts. So if you ever begin a PPC campaign on google adwords do not create a new account just to use a voucher, use the first account you had a voucher. Facebook ads also disabled my account because of the Visa Network voucher, so now I’m left with AdBrite, Plenty of Fish, MSN, Yahoo and PPV networks.

What a beginning of year, lot of things went wrong and both my plans A (Adwords) and B (Facebook) went down the drain, fine, people are still calling me lazy for not getting traffic to my websites, when it is so easy to say when you have your shiny Adwords account and don’t depend on “SEO”.

Back to the subject, if you begin to have baby MFA websites or whatever, you will see that this crap is really hard to manage! Unless you are filthy rich and have money to outsource everything from content creation to backlinks, you’re going to get stuck and overwhelmed! Begin with just 1 or 2 websites, then grow them all the way up, once they have established you begin a new one. Don’t begin one website per day like I did, now I have a lot of websites and I don’t even feel like getting backlinks to all of them, and even getting someone to do the backlinks for me is a hard task, since I have no idea where to begin.

Ok this blog is not meant to teach anybody to do anything, so I’m going to stop writing because I’m dizzy.
Good luck bros.

Yes, I'm the mastermind behind this blog, what a narcissist you may think, but that's not the deal, this blog was created to entertain and somewhat help you out. I'm going to blog about several different subjects, whatever it bothers/pleases me, so that's not another PLR blog, I'm a real blogger, and my type of blogging is, with style. :D

Nice blog! It’s hard not to be a victim for information overload, focus and time management are the keys. You should try to have a weekly schedule and plan 10 mins in the morning each day before you start working.

Do one thing and do it very well then you can move on to the next and let your money roll in!
